I know I should be happy, but I'm not. Maybe it's this strep throat, being sick at home and not doing anything, my friends get jobs, still have commissions to do.... Yeah I have a boyfriend, but that doesn't make everything better. Sorry guys and I hope you don't think that. I guess I want a job more than anything. Well you do have an awesome Portfolio, which the guys at Avatar DID say was very professional. I don't know what to tell you hun except sorry. Don't think that you'll never get a job though. We all get our breaks... no matter how big or small they may seem at first. :)

I once had a teacher named Bob Wendell. He worked for Disney as a grunt animator for a while (in the 50's the men drew and women colored the cell art). He basically had to convert his efforts to Disney. But once he left them he had to go back to school for three years to re-learn how to draw...he was 30 at the time he had to go to school again and he too was a graduate student ( ... )

Mai-chan, u ARE good. But unfortunately, for a new grad entering such a small, competitive industry, getting a break also has to do with chance, and luck, and the people you know...
chin up! i KNOW you'll get something! Explore and/or keep refining your style. They say the average turnaround time is 1-2 years, still too early to sweat and get discouraged ^_~
