Prompt 1: hair

Kagome often wondered her luck, how she had been fated to be a priestesses incarnation and had been wrenched 500 years into the past and ended up surrounded by males with the most exquisite set's of hair in their pretty (and at times evil) heads in the whole of Japan most of modern times excluded. (there were people like the J-rockers who were guy and whom she drooled over in secret...) She often sat in their camp and flitted into a day dream reminiscence about it.

First she'd bumped into Inuyasha.

At the time she'd been most interested in his pair of two doggy ears, and had just had to tweak them and that had led to all sorts of trouble. But it had also led to her continued companionship with the gruff hanyou. And much time to ogle his hair. It was long, silvery and sleek. It swayed in the breeze and she so envied him for it! No man should have such pretty hair. And to her, it had been perfect. The epitome of beautiful male hair.

Right up to the point she had been acquainted with Inuyasha's elder brother, that is.

Sesshoumaru's hair. His hair was... Indescribable. Down to his ankles and with a more regal, more cared and pampered look than Inuyasha's. It framed his androgynous features and swayed about him in ways no hair should. And it beat Inuyasha's mane head first. The word 'mane' could never be used in reference to Sesshoumaru's hair. No. His hair was hair. Luscious, ephemeral and enticing. Fountains of liquid silver cascading down his shoulders and down his back. And when a breeze caught it and sunlight shone on it, creating high lights? It wasn't just the aura of a quick death to anyone daring to cross his path which made Kagome weak on the knees.

Then there had been Miroku. He didn't compare to the inu brothers in the hair department at all. But much could be said of his other assets. And skills.

And while Naraku, whose stolen form Kagome encountered next on her journey in meeting the most beautiful male heads of hair the feudal era had to offer, was an enemy he did have amazing hair. Long and sleek, dark like a moonless night. Much like the way Inuyasha's hair turned at New moon, only more regal. Inuyasha was too wild even as a human to achieve that lustrous way Naraku held his hair even if they matched in colour.

Then there had been Kouga. Wild like Inuyasha but his hair much shorter and coarse. It was wild, like his but lacked the quality length brought. It jusr didn't sway the same way Inuyasha's did, well it did a bit but it didn't look that impressive and made one envy.

All of Naraku's male incarnations seemed to have such luscious hair too. And then there were the 'brothers' from the Shinintaichi, the band of seven. Jakotsu's hair wasn't long but it was so eloquently arranged that Kagome envied him for that even though he tried to kill all of them most of the time. And that long dark braid that swung down Bankotsu's back was just as enticing and beautiful as Sesshoumaru's hair was. All Kagome wanted to do when she saw it was to unbraid it just to see if it would match the youkai lords hair in length.

It made Kagome giddy to think how her friends would envy her if they knew what kind of pretty men she saw daily. All that lovely hair. A girl could envy that, like Yuura of the Hair had, but in the end she was content to be able to see even if her fingers itched to touch.

Maybe she could bribe that little human girl, Rin, who always hung about Sesshoumaru to braid his hair if she offered her enough sweets? That would be a sight to behold, seeing all that silver hair braided...

Kagome was rapped to the head and roused from her daydreaming.

“Ouch! That hurt, Inuyasha!” she retorted, catching herself before she became mesmerized with the way the wind blew his hair about.

“Well quit daydreaming, then!” he said gruffly.

“Inuyasha, could I braid your hair?” Kagome asked before she could help herself.

His eyes went wide and he stared at her like she'd grown a second head or something. Then he shook his head. “No!”

“Please!?” she pleaded, fluttering her eyelashes.

“No!” he started to stomp off.

Luckily she had other methods, now the idea was in her head. It was naughty of her to misuse the power but she just had to see what he'd look like!

“Osuwari!”

He did look awfully cute with the braids.
