[Privately coded section: I haven't seen Niou Masaharu since before he was assigned to infiltrate Rikkai. To see him, undead and well, was...almost emotional for me. I expected, by this time in our lives, to possibly have lost him or for him to have retired to raise another generation of Hunters, not to appear no older than I...and more vampire than I ever hope to be. But friends are few and hard to come by. I refuse to let even such an idealogical rift part me from one that I do consider so. He did not judge me by those who had branded him traitor and killed him, for which I am most grateful. I will even be allowed to communicate with him via email that his Sire will read first.
Speaking of old friends. I also came across the grandson of Tezuka, Kunimitsu. He's...newly Turned. I find that this quite brings my blood to a boil. That someone Turned him, one of the best of his generation; Turned him and abandoned him. I cannot explain in mere words how much I desire to Hunt down his Sire and...well, I would not destroy him. No, Kunimitsu deserves that honor. But it is 98.4% likely he will be missing a few parts when I handed him over. As for Kunimitsu himself, he does not want his father and grandfather told yet. I can respect that. Mind you, I strongly suspect that at least his grandfather already knows. He had a talent for knowing when we youngsters were getting into trouble. I do hope that Kunimitsu choses to return to the Hunt in the end. I don't see him really settling in well to clan life.
Then there was Atobe. For a clan head, or rather heir to a clan, he is remarkably boring. I am 99% positive he thinks he was just faking that and that he is truly interesting in fact...but he is mistaken. He keeps no pets, he Sires no Childe, he collects old things (including Sanada, which is the one interesting thing about him!)...I will keep a close eye on him because I am paranoid that way, but so far, he does not seem worth my time.
Fuji, on the other hand...if he were not a vampire I think we could be such good friends. But he is hiding Something. Several Somethings, actually. I am very much looking forward to peeling back the layers of that particular apple. It's a good thing I have a lot of time on my hands.
Rikkai. Specifically Yukimura and his second, Sanada. Keepers of Niou. Interesting. Very interesting. They are large, they are not subtle; thus they are a frequent target of Hunters...who we lose. You'd think people would actually read the data I give them, but too many are ruled by their passions.
I have also come to the conclusion that sex is something full vampires crave almost as much as blood. I'd never gotten such an opportunity to observe them in a social setting before. Ii data.]
Hiyoshi, would you like to discuss our findings? Either over secured channels or over a tasty beverage, your choice.
[ooc: Hm, he didn't seem to have much to say about Jirou. Iiiinteresting! :D ]
