(Thank you for not putting any spoilers!) I have to admit, I was disappointed when I saw the previews before the game came out and it looked like the worlds were more "cartoonish." Well, at least compared to Twilight Princess anyway, and Twilight Princess is my most FAVORITE game ever! (I grew up with OoT and it surpasses all other video games I ever played until TP) I loved the more mature setting of TP and the graphics. The trailers of Skyward Sword looked like they failed in comparison. (I was also disappointed Link isn't left-handed! Not only am I a proud lefty but it's a trademark!) I don't have the console for SS so I couldn't get it (now) anyway, but I'm wondering, based on the expectations I have after TP, if it would be worth it in the future to me to get this game? Since you've played (or are playing) it, what do you think...?
Its worth it. While not as dark as TP, its not cartoony like WW. Its kind of...like Ocarina, I guess. Its worth playing for a couple of reasons:
1. The game explains a ton of things that were unexplained in OoT 2. Zelda is actively DOING STUFF while we're off adventuring 3. ZELDA/LINK IS PRACTICALLY CANON. <3 <3 <3
I'll admit, I'm only as far as the Water Temple, but so far I love it.
Well then, it definitely sounds like I outta be getting this game someday! Like I said, I grew up with Zelda and OoT and still love it, so I'm sure I'll like this game, too. I'm really curious now as to how SS relates to OoT and what Zelda is up to throughout the game (and I love Zelda/Link!). I guess I'll just have to find out for myself! Thank you so much for your opinion!
