I'm very sorry to hear about your grandmother and all the crap at work. I'm glad in the end it worked out sort of but still

Yeah, as I mentioned in the cut, it was one of those situations that makes you think it MUST be scripted somehow.

But it worked out in the end, so yes, I'm happy. Though, today I left my house at 7:40 am and got back around 15 hours later. Tomorrow I don't have to canvass, so at least I can have a normal 9-5 twice a week.

Though, I'm hoping if I do my job well enough for long enough, they'll offer to raise me to the salary my "Co-Director" (I gave him the look when he called me "Assistant Director" today. He never made that mistake again). I'd like to move to DC to make it easier, but currently can't afford it. I'm stuck in my cricket-infested apartment in Virginia for now.

Since I'm not eligible for fundraising bonuses anymore, I actually took a pay cut to get on salary. Its only about $100 per paycheck, but still.

Yeah, unless I find a rich boyfriend to move in with, its probably not going to happen unless they decide to give me a raise. After all the trouble I went through to get a promotion, I am not asking for anything for a good long while.
