Cut Down: He doesn't have any supernatural abilities, though him without a nicotine fix almost seems unhuman.
Personality: Badou is probably one of the unluckiest people ever, so he thinks. It’s kind of amazing he’s still alive (he just doesn’t realize this). Badou had a tough life growing up. His parents died early on (He never met them, and or was too young to) and he was (supposedly) raised by his brother who was a chain smoking freelance journalist. He picked up smoking at an early age due to his brother, who actually told him not to smoke. Later on his brother was murdered and he was pretty much left for dead. He lost his right eye and received a scar in his right palm during his years before meeting Haine, his current partner in crime. Badou grew up to be a freelance journalist who seemed to always run into trouble. Before meeting Haine, he worked odd jobs, just enough to keep afloat and buy cigarettes with. A big turning point in his life was when he met up with Mihai and Mimi, who have saved his ass countless of times and took care of him. Haine is his partner for his more dangerous jobs, usually ones requiring guns and fighting. He wouldn't admit to calling the man his friend, per se, but they've saved and gotten each other in trouble countless times. Not to mention saved, they like to leave that detail out.
Did I mention Badou is extremely dependent on cigarettes? He goes absolutely ape-shit without cigarettes. Not to mention he can shoot a Mac 10 pretty damn well. He also has the ability to put up with Haine, a special power in its own right. Also his many different jobs/tasks have made him skilled at pretty random things. He also can do household things, like sewing and cooking.
He's a lazy ass in general, part time drama queen. He's just living to get by, which means money for cigarettes, food, and an apartment. Overall, Badou is a pretty cool guy. He’s no saint and knight in shinning armor, and he’s not afraid of letting Haine be his meat shield. He’s more laid back when he’s off the job, repressing his mysterious and traumatic past to himself. Badou also can be said to have mood swings, but he’d probably deny that. If Badou likes you, and you like Badou, he’ll probably be your main guy to get drunk and hang with. If you two don’t like each other, you probably won’t be getting the warmest welcome ever.
