Oh. Wow. I should probably take a few more minutes to digest this, but I FUCKING LOVED IT. Seriously. You got their voices down, and I am insanely jealous of your dialogue, because WOW. This was everything that it should be, bickering and loving and freaking out and I LOVED the structure. And I loved how much they loved each other without saying it. GOD. YES.

I think my favorite line was this:
The waitress-- Dana-- gets a huge grin on her face, the kind you see on people who are inordinately proud of their home and would share it with the world if they could. Kowalski recognizes the grin from Fraser, stranded with him in the ass-end of a snow field. Vecchio recognizes it from Kowalski, speeding down Lake Shore Drive at one in the morning with the GTO's windows wide open.Because I love that image, and it is just a PERFECT description of how they feel, even if Kowalski loves the North and Fraser loves Chicago in their own ways
