pairings: Russia X Germany, implied Germany X Italy
rating: Uhm. PG, I think? But thematically PG-13.
summary: Germany and Russia meet up in Moscow to discuss an alliance between them; but even for the political pleasantries, Russia notices with some annoyance that Germany refuses to look at him.

( The air was clear but so many things were hidden between the lines- there was so much dust that floated by unresolved, threatened to choke... )

I was wondering when someone would write something like this. I saw that picture in my history class before I'd heard of Hetalia, and it was niggling at me for a while.

Bravo, by the way. Very nice use of language. And Italy is such a total ice breaker it's maddening. XD

yeah, i was wondering why nobody'd written a germany X russia fic like this before- the history of it is really interesting. yeah, i found that picture last night and thought it was hilarious XD

This... this... THIS WAS JUST WONDERFUL. I've seen a few good historical-backed Hetalia fics popping up lately and I'm so very glad to have read yours as well! I LOVED it!

The way you characterized Germany and Russia was just... wow. Perfect. I loved reading their thoughts - about the world, the war, each other...

I must say I do love my history-backed Hetalia fics every now and again. Mainly when someone does them as good as this. I love the tension between the two. Unf makes a girl swoon something fierce. Great fic!
