I am trying to lose weight.
So Matt and I and his sister did "Let's Dish" together (all the meals I picked were only 7 or less, weight watchers points)
and I am doing the slim fast shakes (1 for breakfast and 1 for lunch) and then 1 serving of the let's dish meals for dinner to work on the food side of it. I found that I forget to eat Breakfast and Lunch because I don't recognize that I am hungry and just keep doing whatever it is that I am doing and end up not eating until dinner and then I get hungry in the middle of the night, soooo this is all trying to correct that.
I do, however, need to find some snack that is sweet that I can eat between dinner and sleep LOL so far it has been life savers and fireballs LOL but I think I might buy some more jello or fruit.
So for exercise (outside of the weights, tapes/dvds and the elliptical) we are trying to go bike riding once a weekend and walking/hiking the other day.
On Saturday we went to a park right on the water and rode our bikes for about 6 miles and for 2 hours, in MUD for about 3/4s of the time haha, so I am convinced it was a good workout, and OMG my butt JUST stopped hurting today! It was HILARIOUS trying to take pictures while riding my bike, in the mud, and over tree roots LOL it really was a lot of fun! XD
Sunday we went for a mild hike/walk around a historic Mill town / field / forest area. We found a bunch of mushrooms and neat foliage it was relaxing and exercise at the same time.
We had wanted to see Earth (the new disney movie that is basically clips from the filming of Blue Planet, and planet Earth) but we took too much time finding mushrooms and fungus to get there in time, so, we saw it Monday :D
It was a nice and productive weekend :D let's hope we can keep it up and not bruise our butts too badly!
