Ok cool I was wondering why I got email notification from each of your chapters. Not that im complaining. I finally have a night off to sit and re read your stories.

And yeah, in addition to screwing up some formats, they also took out brackets in summaries -___- do you know how NEAT the summaries of stories looked with brackets in them? And now they've gone and ruined it ;__;

I only got one so far, that was a request from someone over at DH. I haven't done much else yet, and what has been done is up at soko_7. XD
In addition to removing brackets, they also don't let you use * or ~ or any shift + number signs anymore, it seems, which is a pain in the ass. Furthermore, there's less freedom with your fonts and what not, which is really annoying. I got crap up on there from when I was like...12-14ish, it's bad enough when you look back on that stuff and must fight the urge to rend the whole thing apart! At least keep it readable, y'know?

I think they don't let you use those symbols cause they don't want people putting smiley's in their fics, or any 'author's notes', stuff like that. They're trying to limit the reader/author interaction, which is why they came up with things like review replies (not that I'm complaining about those, cause they make it a whole lot easier when you want to answer a reviewer's question and whatnot) and pms.
Still, I know what you mean, it's sooo irritating!! And when you read a fic from like 454850493859043 years ago (okay, not THAT long XD) and it's just like "I used to write crap like that?! DX" [deletedeletedeleeeeeeeeeeeete!!] or when someone leaves a review on said fic from 2038304985039850439 years ago saying it's so omgawesome D:
Ok, in that respect, I can understand, but it doesn't really work because I still see the 'YOU DECIDE WHAT HAPPENS NEXT' in the pit every so often when the mods don't catch it. I used the symbols to help cut the scenes without running them so close together--granted, they've now given a spacer line option, but it still runs things closer than I'd like. =p I just hate having my own personal touches removed, but I guess I can deal.
kajsdfljsdfljsd ohgodyes. I try to leave all the ooooold stuff alone to gauge my progress should I ever get the drive to sit down and write my own novel someday. But the temptation...so hard!
