Maintaied involvement in Professional Politics. Got elected for a position with the votes of a "public".
Met a government Minister at an official event, Saved an Olde Granny (well, sort off anyway),
[2.] Did you keep all of last years resolutions?
Yes. Didn't make any --> didn't break any ===> SUCCESS!!!!
[3.] Have you any resolutions for next year?
I. Get involved in a team sport, even if its something silly like ruggers or rowing.
II. Find a MD project that actually involves REAL SCIENCE, labs and that kind of thing.
III. Get back into being an actual student, rather than learning MCQ-knowledge on a need to know basis.
[4.] What countries did you visit?
England, just for the one weekend.
[5.] What would you like to have in 2008 that you didn't have in 2007?
a digital camera, a sizable mp3-player

[7.] What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Passing state exams, getting a 1st in my viva (though it pretty much doesn't count for anything it Is a pretty good feeling after my dealings with academia till that point)
[8.] What was your biggest failure?
Not managing to maintain productivity after exams to hit winter term running, and being unable to maintain ANY social life all year, especially considering I should've tried to be a decent city guide to Nat.
[9.] Did you suffer any illness or injury?
1 neato cut on my palm putting my rucksack on. To this date I don't know for sure how I managed that, but I got the stitches to proove it.
[10.] What was the best thing you bought?
All truth be told, Irish Whiskey...
[11.] Whose behaviour made you appalled and depressed?
That giant ÇŎČĶ down west, That giant Ćøčķ down east.
[12.] Where did most of your money go?
Food, non-alcoholic beverages, textbooks.
[13.] What did you get really really really excited about?
Getting to hang out with my big brother in Hamburg and Cologne without my mum about, drinking dodgy beer.

[A] Fatter or thinner? Fatter yet thinner :-| weight's back up to what it was in summer 2006, but I'm quite possibly in better shape.
[B] Happier or sadder? More successful perhaps.
[C] Richer or poorer? Poorer, but I guess not really to the point that its turning int trouble.
[16.] What do you wish you'd done more of?
Revising for the written exams (ffs, got a 2.1 overall, so need to fuss. But it would've been a 1 if I'd been more organised OR saner at the time)

Procrastinating (always a good one, especially when you get distracted from THAT), moping, spending hours "studying" without getting any work done.
[18.] How will you be spending Christmas?
At home with my family, with maybe one little pre-X-mas Christmas visit to a mate tomorrow.

Not exactly.

Spares, by Michael Marshall Smith (my brother hated it), Hateland by Bernard O'Mahoney,
Robin Hobb's Farseer Trilogy would've been REALLY good fun with the main Character wasn't quite so dim witted.
also, Squire's Radiology (actually VERY enjoyable, possibly even for people NOT involved in Medicine)

Cyberage Radio and Philosomatika in terms of broadcasts I can actually enjoy,
Grendel (if you choose to call that music),

Harrison's Principles of Internal Medicine. Pretty sad, eh?
a new Bike, quite suitable for long distances.
[27.] What did you want and not get?
a license to kill.
The Bike I felt I wanted. But that's Ok, for
I: I was about 3 grand short
II: it makes more sense to repair my old bike which fulfiils most of what the new bike is missing
III: The Wanted Bike would've lasted about a day before getting nicked.

Big Screen: by default, it is '300', but only because the only other fillum I saw was "Oceans Thirteen", and that sucked Royal Choad.

Revise. a Year older than last time round, rather surprisingly.
[30.] What one thing would have made your year more satisfying?
Holidays, social life and a little extra income might've been fun.

Vanilla.

The Great Old Ones. And Thai Fast Food.

Working Conditions in the German Medical Care Sector. Did even get involved to a tiny extend.

You can hate an awful lot about someone and still consider them a good friend without being dishonest.
