I'll never understand why people seem to think other people's relationships are their business. Both our friends, family, and strangers seemed to feel the need to comment on how and what Mike and I were doing in ours, especially because we were together for seven years before we got hitched (and that we did primarily so he could accompany me to Japan since they don't recognize domestic partnership). Then afterward, we've been made to endure the inane question of "How's married life treating you?" over, and over again; even though the answer is obvious, "Well, not much differently than before."

I'm almost glad we're here at the moment because I think it's been mitigating the amount of "So why don't you have a baby yet?!?" crap.

Hope you can get the idiot to shut up about business that isn't his.
