*hugs*
artistic talent will come back, you just need to keep on drawing, but not have expectations for results straight away.
What hotel are you staying in?
I stayed in the Cambridge last night - would have liked it if you were there *hugs*

Hey hun! you don't need heaps of time to get drawing again. There's heaps of exercises that you can do that don't take long but mean you can see definite results if you do them regularly. Just set aside 15 minutes every other day to do blind drawings or draw things upside down. Make sure you keep them too, and you'll see it coming back slowly =) xx

Blind drawings?

you make it sound easy. ^__^
All I can do is try a bit harder. I doodle whilst on the phones at work, i guess i just miss the hours i had alone where all i did was draw.

*hug*
hope you are well

Blind drawings are when you look at an object or something and draw it reeeeeeaaaallllly slowly with as much detail as you can using pencil without looking at the paper. You probably could do it at work because it doesn't have to be a complex thing, it could just be something on your desk. Don't be daunted, it is easy! Because you don't go into it expecting the drawings to look like much (and initially they don't) you get some really unexpected results and your brain and hand gradually start to align. It's really cool!

Did you have a fun birthday?
