Home from Russia. Got back last night. I'm sure I missed a lot. Ah well, these things happen. If you wanna update me on your personal goings on, sweet! If not, that's cool 'cause I'm not going through two weeks of LJ journal entries. Who has time for that? Ha ha. Aaaaanyway. Mother 'effing awesome! Novgorod was incredibly relaxing and was founded in 862 so it has a LOT of ancient history and a lot of artifacts. St. Petersburg was crazy because it's a bustly modern day city with 18th and 19th century buildings. A TON of history here, mostly imperial history which is incredibly interesting. A friend and I went to Moscow on a night train for a day and I got to see Red Square, The Kremlin, St. Basil's Cathedral, LENIN, The GUM, The GULAG museum, the Tretakov Gallery and when we were leaving PINK FLOYD was playing a concert in Red Square so we got to hear them. I'd say a success.

Lauren!!! You're back! *hug* I missed ya. Work just isnt the same without the craziness of BOTH of us LOL. Oh and, all the taffy is waiting for you. Did I mention that we (the office) has no money so we haven't been able to go to costco? We have resorted to eating Fritos and all the left over stuff no one usually eats-- and the animal crackers are almost done for once lol. Anyways.... hope to see you soon! I say soon because I might be taking Monday off since it's my mom's bday. But we'll see... we all know I need the money ahahaha.

sorry to hear about your suitcase. I'm doing good. Getting ready for the 4th of July weekend out in Iowa with my hubby and my mom is coming to visit to see the house too. :) Wheee. All is good.

Wow Russia! How exciting! I still remember taking a Russian History class and having Clark bust out pictures of his trip to Russia. I'm not suprised about cranky airline workers, just dealt with some of them myself.
