Just dropping aline to say I'm interested. I don't play; but I like reading about playing. I do the same with Chess; I rarely play it, but I often read about games and strategies, and I'm watching the World Championship closely. Maybe it's just my strategic bent. I a bit of an amateur military historian, so I read a lot about battles and wars, and find the strategy and tactics part of it fascinating - I think it's the same with Go and Chess.
I do actually read your Go posts ever since your review of Hikaru no Go (which had me hooked on the manga. I'm going through the anime on an incredibly slow pace). I think I'd be a terrible player myself but I much prefer reading about other people's games.
Just to say that, yes, people are reading your go posts.
I still have a hard time seeing territories that are owned and so we typically go as far as possible for the expience. Asking questions and learning all the way, I've beat my husband everytime but it's not saying much. He did get better after playing the computer, but at that point he decided eyes weren't worth the trouble. I wiped him out and corrected that notion ;) I've recreated a couple games on the ipad to double check our scoring, that is one trouble with two people just learning on a real board. I read your posts and try to learn from them.
