Apparently stupid Tony Kakko and his stupid band Sonata Arctica is never going back to the power of true power metal. They want to be "darker" and go for their "own sound." That's cool and all, but Unia FUCKING SUCKED. Tony also said he was sick of singing so high all the time ( Read more... )

I heard a cool power metal band the other day. They are called Iron Savior. Condition Red and Battering Ram are their albums of note. They are bonar (and the song "Titans of our Time" has a thrash break that's so senseless and out of place that it's perfect. Go figure!)

Iron Savior? Sounds pretty fucking metal. For some reason my mind conjures a picture of some guys with mullets in leather vests and nothing underneath.

sonata is great, but unia is also great.. paid in full is a masterpiece, also fly with the black swan and my dreams but a drop of fuel for a nightmare.
they might take some time to get used to but i've lost the count of how manny times iwe caught myself masturbationg to uni (yes i'm beeing sarcastic... just trying to make a decent description of how damn good it was..)
