Then again, seeing as the whole damn situation was about as far from normal as it could be, what with the random ass tropical island and the fact that he and Wesley'd had a threesome, well, maybe normal was

Wesley had waged with the debate whether he should fancy himself up something or perhaps that he should just wear a normal day's outfit as Angel Investigations had nearly demanded. In the end, comfort won out and he had prepared himself with a simple vested shirt along with casual khakis that he wouldn't have minded spilling demonic blood on.

"Quite," he agreed, adjusting his glasses. "I thought we might start from the South end and work our way Westerly?"

"Sounds good to me," agreed Gunn with a short nod as he started forward. "Is it sad that I'm sorta hopin' we run into somethin' nasty?" he added, just this side of self-deprecating. "For old times' sake, I mean." Old times' sake and being able to use his sweet katana for something other than impressively slicing a mango in mid-air.

"No, I believe I'd call that common sense after so much boredom," Wesley assured, because he was feeling much the same. Perhaps it was a way of combatting his nerves. While he had absolutely no issues of thinking of Gunn as his best friend, regarding him as his 'date' was still tricky.

"Okay, good," laughed Gunn. He took a look around, willing his eyes to get used to the dark faster. "So, uh, do we hold hands or somethin'?"
