thought for food

[I've been exploring the reasons why my family and I share better overall physical health than many other people today.  My last post was about exercise.  This will be mostly about food, and we all know I'm all about food.]

I smell a book in this. Getting writing toots, us fatties of the world need motivation!! ;)

Argh, no! A book would require research, and this is just about the reasons I think I'm healthy, which are quite possibly way off track.

As for "fatties", well, most of the overweight people I know have lots of motivation. It's the skinny folk who tend to be lazy. We see a number on the scales and think, "Hell, I'm thin. I don't have to [exercise, eat healthy, quit a bad habit]."

I totally blame the media for this. They've been so fixated on fat = unhealthy that they tend to ignore other unhealthiness, leading healthy heavy people to be unnecessarily concerned, and unhealthy underweights to be unjustly complacent.

Bah! No one researches anymore! You just write about what works for you, add in some recipes, and the unhealthy people will eat it up!
