It’s not considered proper to begin a meal with dessert, but I’m gonna begin this post with dessert.

I'm imagining your daughters stringing O's on their chopsticks and sliding them into their mouths! Fun!

Salt and savory indeed is satisfying often like sugar and fat. Sometimes after I've consumed a sweet, fat dessert, I'll go for something salty for a balance, or then raid the fridge for more veggies.

I've decided that two food combinations that feed cravings are: sugar and fat, salt and oil. Plus, of course, the variations on the theme.

Oh, yeah. Mashed potatoes: they are a downfall of mine. I inherited the refrain from my Gram, "Mmmmm! Just like ice cream!"

Evidently the point of the game is to see how many O's you can get onto a single chopstick, and then see if they'll all fit into your mouth at once.

When it's Wheaties, however, they use two chopsticks.
