Today Will came over and we took pictures for the Arts Alliance show. I think they will be killer! The photo lamps that I got for Christmas were too bright to achieve the effect I had envisioned, so I had to use candles. Will was the perfect model! He definately needs to hire a modeling agent! I had higher expectations for the art show yesterday. There were only 4 artists displaying work. It was more an event for the naval base than it was for the artists. I had the most amazing day today. School went surprisingly well. I discovered that my Design teacher doesn't think I'm a dumb blond after all. In fact, he helped me with my project. I went home this weekend to take slides of my artwork for a show my Mom and I are entering for the National Museum of Women in the Arts. It's in Washington D.C. in 2004 and will be on display for an entire year at the D.C. museum!! I hope we get in!!! I went to listen to a poetry reading at Will's Pub on Tuesday with Adam and Josh. Inspiring! Adam and I made a pact to have some works completed within the next month to read onstage.
