so...i hate the people in my film class (film and music).  we had to pick one of five films to add to the course.  honestly i think that's really cool.  so the professor had us write a paper on what film we thought would be good, making sure to have a clip, and he picked from them.  so the choices:

Across the Universe
A Clockwork Orange
Harlan County

Across the Universe? Over A Clockwork Orange? And Into The Wild (which was COMPLETELY and unfairly overlooked by almost everyone)?

I haven't seen Run Lola Run, but it's been on my Netflix queue for... forever.

Bad luck. At least it's not something lame like Napoleon Dynamite or whatever.

Across the Universe left me incredibly bored and I LOVE the Beatles. They've been a soundtrack in my life since I could form coherent thoughts. I fully agree with you about this movie, all it is is an elaborate stream of music videos.
My vote would have been for Run Lola Run as well. :3
