Money well spent?

  The cost of President Elect Obama's inauguration is supposed to be around $150 million dollars.  Really??  $150 million??  Bush Spent one third of that, ($50 million) and the press complained loudly that he was a wasteful person for doing that.  Now, I'm the first person who will defend a persons right to spend their money any way they want.  So ( Read more... )

If you pay attention to the events being held around Washington DC right now Obama and his administration are breaking bread with many groups that are the backbone of our country in both economic securities as well as our security that have been shit upon by the previous president. If we are going to get anything remotely close to instant gratification in the rebuilding process, he needs to get in well with military families, vets, minorities... Particularly with minority groups after all the justice department messes that have come up recently ( ... )

He's the first black President, you had people talk about SHOOTING HIM if he got elected and during his campaign. Was there serious encouragement to assassinate Bush by Kerry or Gore?

My Barak Obama kool-aid has worn off hardcore, but I don't want to see him killed. Seeing those losers hooting and hollering about offing him is just...pathetic. Goddamn, people like that are still in America? Why?!

I'm willing to bet a lot more of that money is going to hire every day people to enforce the super rigid security measures. At least, that's what I'd like to see...
