This soooo sucks.
My mom works for a radio station.
As a result, I am given things to do for it now and then, more frequently the 'now' part of that deal.
This time I was given a stack of talks on cassette to record digitally.
22 tapes, and Mom's boss gave her 22 blank CDs.
Seeing as how the tapes are only label on one side, I felt safe in assuming that they were single sided.
I recorded (and burned) 18 of the 22 before I found out that they were all double sided.
And now because of other stupid stuff, I'm going to have to re-record all of those tapes AND their other sides.
So in effect, everything I've already done was for nothing, and I wasted the CD-r's the guy gave me.
This is like... 22x 35x 2= 25 solid hours of recording time. That's not counting the time I'll have to spend splicing Side A & Side B together, since naturally this is a low quality recording...
At least we have a new computer with a really High Speed CD Burner. That will help speed things up.
