I know it seems like everyone is talking about Bearbook.com like Jim Jones came back to life with a bear gut, a tribal tattoo and a pierced nose or whatever. Since so many people I know and like are joining Bearbook, and since I find so many things about Bear411 to be so annoying, I'm inclined to give Bearbook a try.

BUT, I just keep having qualms about giving all my credit card info to an organization I don't really know.

If they had a PayPal option, I'd probably be right on it.

I keep hearing about the site, but work's kept me so crazy this week I haven't had any chance to even think about it. The one thing I've heard about it that I don't like is that there's no option to try out the site without paying; I'm supposed to pay to join a site without giving it a test drive first?

Hmmmm. I'm ensconced in wait-and-see mode.

Reports suggests there are appealing things about it, but my natural skepticism keeps me at arm's length.
