Is there a sadder sight

You go to see a band or act that is accepted by the indie kids but that is perhaps a little more dancey. This is something that's fairly common these days. Something like OUT HUD or LCD SOUNDSYSTEM or M.I.A. or whatever. They start to play their jams. You look at the indie kids. Some are dancing wildly. This is not the sad part. I understand the sentiment but sometimes when I am distinctly NOT feeling a band or DJ I will engage in some wholly ironic assbusting. A techno remix of "Seven Nation Army" inspired some wide-eyed workitworkit on my part in front of a DJ booth once (cuz I'm an asshole and was drunk). It is possible that reason the person "has the impulse to dance but won't" is because they don't think the act is really inspiring them to dance. Obviously its also possible that the person just is afraid to really dance, pathetic, etc.
