I agree, in some ways Yuki pisses me off to no end, and at the same time I can see where her ideas and values come from. It's not okay to be openly gay and live in a relationship with another man in Japan. Yuki is just an ordinary woman, probably raised somewhat traditionally, and definitely not some rebellious music lover with a flare for the androgynous. Or whatever. It still doesn't make her opinions right though, no way near.
Naoto IS adorable! And so is Zo. They're growing up too, Aki and Zo, and I hope I don't take too much liberties in imagining the idea of settling down, was it possible, could be slightly appealing to them in the future.

I really love this story because even though it has touching scenes, it touches on the political aspect of the issue as well.
Kenzo is just amazing.

It does, I figured Yuki would not love the idea of Naoto growing up "to be homosexual", cause that is what way too many people think still. That it's something you learn, something you choose to be. I'm glad I got a little bit of the political/social side of it through.
Kenzo is amazing! But then I think Aki is too, he just doesn't dare be so blunt cause he could lose Naoto so easily.

I can understand Yuki in a sense, she has been raised to think homosexuality is wrong, it's what society is teaching her. But it doesn't make what she says right, or justifies it in any way.
I might write more, it seems to be the popular vote. And Amakins will probably make me. :P

I'm glad you can sort of see where Yuki's coming from. I don't agree with her and I think she has no right to say the things she do, but I can understand why she has the values and opinions she has. Like you say, homosexuality in Japan is a sketchy thing indeed. Unfortunately.

It was so sweet when Aki asked Kenzo if he would marry him ♥ And Naoto was listening, she is definitely a smart girl hahahaha XD
I imagine Aki being a father and it's really cute ♥ He really loves Naoto, and I think he wouldn't accept so easily if Yuki told him not to see his daughter, right?
I really liked it, I'd be happy if you continue this story XD

In this story Kenzo and Aki have been an exclusive couple for...I don't know, six or seven years at least. But Aki sort of surprised me with his question, hahaha. And yes, Naoto is a clever little thing, she'll be dangerous when she grows older. XD
Did you read Adult Boys? It's the first story with Naoto, the one where she's introduced. But you are right, Aki would fight for Naoto if Yuki tried to take her away. As would Kenzo. Naoto is their daughter too now, they both feel it.
