luau offering for ozmissage - juliet POV fic

Aug 07, 2010 00:08

Here is a belated Lost drabble for Queen ozmissage, who requested Lost Ladies (and Juliet in particular). I found her relationship with Jack in the sideways universe very interesting, so I decided to explore that back story a bit. Please forgive its lateness, and I hope you enjoy! :D

Juliet-centric | Sideways 'verse | PG | 724 words )

This was lovely, this is exactly what I think their relationship must have been like.

What's spooky is that I'm polishing up something for we_will_be_gods and angela_weber that's a bit like this, except it's Jack's PoV (and that it's less well written).

Thank you! Glad you thought I captured the relationship well. And I look forward to reading your fic as well! I'm sure it will be great :D

Aww, I love this so much! You capture that amicable, sweetness in Jack and Juliet's relationship beautifully. They really are both incurable romantics (and thank God for that.) Thank you so much for this! :D

*hugs* So glad you liked it! I was so interested by the fact that there didn't seem to be any hostility at all between Jack and Juliet despite the fact that they were divorced.

You're welcome! Sorry again for its lateness!

Oooh, you nailed this! I like this line in particular:

There had just been something that neither of them seemed able to place a finger upon that made their family feel more like two best friends playing house than a legitimate marriage.

I don't think Jack/Juliet's relationship could be summed up better than that.

Absolutely lovely, hun! ♥
