I LOVE Zooey! ...I think I would absolutely HATE this show if she wasn't the lead. She makes the character quirky and endearing where as if it was anyone else it could easily come off as air head, ditzy and annoying.

Schmidt is wonderful! His story lines really entertain me. I kind of dislike how they came out of the gates ep 1 all ready to pair her up with Nick, that made me annoyed, even though I do concede they would be cute. It was just kind of like can't they just be friends at least first???

I need New Girl Icons and HIMYM icons and more spaaaace!

Zooey is so freaking precious I can hardly stand it. And I think you're absolutely right - her quirkiness makes the show and the chemistry between all of them and the humor work.

I definitely like Jess/Nick as the end game pairing, but I hope they continue to let all of their relationships grow and develop some more first.

I think Schmidt might be becoming my favorite character XD His douchebag with a heart of gold thing is endlessly entertaining. And oh my GOSH the hand washing *bats walnut away, runs to sink* "Beautiful savage..." XDDDD

I loved that Grey's episode!! It's actually one of the last Grey's episodes I watched-I gave it up this season. But that musical episode was AMAZING.
