Although, self-harm can be seen as an immaturety (I see it as one), it is a coping tool, and just because people don't know any other coping methods, or the traditional methods of coping don't work and they turn to self-harm - doesn't mean anyone can have the piss taken out of them because of it.

If they want to be un-empathic bastards, let them.

yeh it just annoyed me that they have no idea about it. feelings involved.. i dont mind taken the piss out of me like about my hair or summit. but that is kinda a personal thing rather than summit open and i can joke about.

theres loads of people out there who dont get the concept of self-harm. it seems stupid to them, they don't understand how you can feel so much pain inside that the only way you can find to stop is to take it out on yourself. people will take the piss out of things they have no idea about. self-harm can sometimes be seen as an immature thing to do, but taking the piss out of something you have no idea about is immature, and shows a great deal of ignorance. i'd just ignore them all. and remember, today is just one day, so what if today was shit, tomorrow may well be better. just don't give up

that is sooo true. they frustrate me all the time. they arent really my friends. i dont reely have friends. theres know1 who reely knows the real me. except the people that read this i spose.

sometimes the people that can turn out to be "real friends" aren't the ones you expected to. i dont think alot of people have many real friends, they just have people they spend time with.

just remember theyre not going through all this, you are. they have no idea what it's like.
