I've been drawing Pride and Prejudice connection since Draco's "You have offended me in every conceivable way. Get out of my bed, get out of my room, and get out of my House." in Chapter 28. Draco is Lizzy, Justin is Mr. Wickham, Harry is Mr. Darcy - and now Ron is revealed as Lady Catherine de Beurg. Fabulous darling!
"Make him like me?" he repeated coldly. "Witty? Urbane? Blond? Devilishly handsome?" well, i like Draco for those reasons.
oh Ron, how awful of you. i can't believe you are doing this. *covers face and shakes head* i feel embarrassed for you, darling. *reminds self that Ron's not really real*
He forbore to mention that Potter had very clearly managed to get over whatever fleeting crush he had once harboured. oh misunderstandings are just the most delightfully angsty things.

Oh, the tragic misreading of the situation! *hugs Draco*
And-- for a moment, I really expected Draco to say "Why not? You don't fancy Potter, do you?" at the end there.
