portkey

It's bloody ridiculous, and totally, totally 18 C, but She always capitalised Portkey.

Wow. This is so fucking briliant. This has redeemed Christmas, and if you've ever met my mother (and, frankly, if you've encountered Emily at her worst then you've met my mother) you have no idea how grateful I could possibly be for that.

Portkey. portkey. Damn, you're right. I reckon I'm going to be too late to have the 'official' version on my site fixed up just yet, but I'll sort out this version and the one that I'll be sending to other archives.

I am pleased beyond all measure that this has brightened your festive season; and if Emily Longbottom is indeed based on your mother, then I'm sure your Christmas will have been far from dull. Ahem.

This is great. Poor Draco, knowing that Justin betrayed him, believing that Harry is rescuing him only because he needs information. He's such a woobie here.

One little nitpick.

Harry, furious tears stinging his eyes, was on the very brink of blowing his cover and hurling Avada Kadavra. I've always seen it spelled Avada Kedavra.

keys might be"

and then vanished

Full stops needed, my dear.

And, oh, poor Draco. Betrayed, beaten, convinced he's seen as unimportant, and now in mortal danger again.

and it was only by dint of some very nifty flying that Harry managed to dart through the door in his wake.

I'm really quite impresed that you successfully managed to use the word 'nifty' in such a sombre sentence.

I've no time to write a longer review, I simply must get to the next capter!
