"There is a time and a place for stupid Gryffindor heroics, and this may be it."

Oh god yes! I have fallen in love with your Damsel-In-Distress!Draco. That line is a classic.

I also love the way you described Harry's power. It was impressive, but not over the top. The comparison betwen Voldemort and cockeroaches was very effective.

On to the next chapter I go!

*gasp* an unforgivable! goodness. reign that power in, Harry. btw, i just adore your Resisting-Temptation-Of-The-Dark!Harry. (that's an awfully long name).

so glad you pointed out similarities between Harry and Riddle. i love how they're similar but so different. as Dumbledore says, 'it's our choices that make us who we are'. or something to that effect.

favourite lines:

Voldemort's mind brushed his, and the contact was like the skittering brush of cockroaches crawling over a sleeper's face. Harry was revolted, but not afraid. (just amazing imagery. really)

"That isn't who I'm going to be, damn it," (Yay Harry)

There is a time and a place for stupid Gryffindor heroics, and this may be it

"I'm not a complete idiot, you know."
"Which part is missing?" (still insulting in the face of danger. that's our Draco.)

At the start of the chapter, Harry uses "Imperius" to control Lucius. You mean Imperio, right? (Because Imperius, the Imperius Curse, is what the spell's called, not the actual incantation for the spell- like Crucio is really the Cruciatus Curse, Impedimenta the Impediment Jinx, etc; correct me if I'm wrong.)

Loving this so far, by the way. :D
