Hmmm. Assuming rent is ~$400...then food cooked and prepared would be ~$10-$15 (ie. how much I'd pay if I were eating on campus anyway)...furnishings would probably be an extra amount tacked onto rent so I would say $50-$100 depending on the quality of the furniture and to account for utilities. So....$600-$700 sounds about right at the low end.
Depends on actual space available (ie. do they only have their bedroom, or do they also have a separate study/living room) and density of people. The more people and the less personal space, the less they'll be willing to pay. The more space and less people, the more they ought to be paying.
I mean, I'm cheap. I wouldn't pay more than this since I can cook for myself and have all my own furniture. (Note: I'm not assuming that they aren't paying for groceries or electricity. I still assume that those kinds of things are split between the members of the household.)
I know someone was saying on your FB that they would pay a grand, but I think that is pushing a bit high if people are looking to find a place to share they are hopping for a bit of a saving. Are you looking for room mates or is this a I am just wondering kinda thing?
