Our bathtub has been backed up for WEEKS. Meaning, the tub is still draining from our morning showers when I get home from work at 6pm. I have called the office THREE TIMES THIS MONTH for this very reason, and they come and dump half a bottle of drain-o down the damn thing and assume that the problem is fixed. That happened to us two years ago.. after 3 months of them doing nothing more than shoving stupid cleaning liquids down it, we were sitting in the living room and hear the biggest creaking and crashing from the back yard, we looked outside and the entire concrete slabs had split open and sewage was streaming and oozing out into the yard.. there was also sewage splattered up the back of the house.

In the end, due to their incompetence they had to pay thousands to get it fixed as it had messed with the foundations...and the house couldn't be lived in as there was raw sewage streaming around it.. so they lost out on the rent too... AND they had to pay our deposit for a new place :D

All for the sake of one blocked drain.

argh... going through a similar situation at the moment... no hot water. ARGH! -my sympathies-
