Watch meeting. Hospital cafeteria. Five minutes.

[Seifer is sitting in a chair, feet up on one of the tables as he waits for people to arrive. He nods at them as they come in, maybe calls a greeting to the ones he's more familiar with, but he waits until everyone's arrived before letting his feet drop down and sitting up more properly to speak.]As you may or may not know the name's Seifer Almasy. I think I can safely assume you're all here for the same reason I am: because Discedo's a hole and y'wanna do something about it. I'm sayin' right now this won't be a police force. Personal troubles I don't care about, that's other peoples' problems. But considering this little experiment of the scientists has been running close to three years now you'd think we'd have a little more order

[Japan is sitting somewhere close by, probably with stuff to take notes with. He likes to be organized, okay. Anyway, he glances to Seifer.]

So, rather than acting like police, you are aiming to make this a network of relations that can respond in case of.. ah, something similar to Lavos?

[For the record, he knows what Seifer's doing. Why he's asking it is half weird Japanese restatement of the question and half wording it all fancy because he likes it that way.]

[At some point in the meeting, Japan's going to make time to speak. Because, unlike world meetings, these humans (and not-so-humans) seem willing to actually get work done. Amazing.]

I'd like to point out that my skills the communicator are quite high considering everything, and if you do not know how to lock a post up to 85%, I can teach you at least that much.

I am also willing to answer any questions or speak about any suggestions anyone might have. If I could learn all of your names, at least, I would appreciate it.

[After Japan speaks, Hans stands up. He raises a hand to his mouth and clears his through a bit before talking, just ever so slightly nervous.]

I am Hans Arlens, I come from the Kingdom of Orde... which, I doubt anyone has heard of. Um, I'm not very good with weapons or dealing with monsters. But, before arriving here I was a member of the development committee for Sera Island and am versed in diplomatic matters. I suppose you could call me a bureaucrat....

Sadly no, though the people of Earth don't seem much different from my world, though I find the lack of alchemy a bit bizarre.

[Hans spends most of his time being quiet. Everyone else could probably handle most the talking better than him. What he did though, was take notes of everything. It was the best way he could be of use to this project.]
