8D Background ☪ Krayon has a lofty position as one of the Five Elders, but little is known about what he was like before testing Raenef V. Only a glimpse is shown through a teenage blackfash, when the witty but now deceased Raenef IV out-smarted him in his own house. Despite how the late Raenef wrecked his study and then set violent booby traps for him to deal with, Krayon and Raenef IV get along relatively well.
Krayon first appears with his arrival to the Raenef household with the intention of bringing Eclipse, a demon loyal to the Raenef name and in charge of rearing Raenef V into a proper demon lord, into his service. He decides to test the new Raenef to see if he's a fit master, which, of course, Raenef is not. Krayon's overwhelming power nearly destroys both the new demon lord and his servant (and Chris and Erutis who were more coincidental), but is ultimately hindered by Raenef IV's ghost. Krayon still insists on gaining Eclipse's servitude.
Also noteworthy during this time is his encounter with Erutis, a swords(wo)man held captive in Raenef Castle (Eclipse's idea). He declares his fondness for her and thus begins his quest to win her heart. She has no interest in him whatsoever, but he appears late for no other reason than to be close to her. In the epilogue he is shown stalking her.
Personality ☪ Krayon rules over the land of Egae with terror and without mercy, befitting of a true demon lord. He is one of the five eldest demons in existence. He's obsessed with beauty, however, and will thus go to great lengths to preserve his youthful appearances. He hasn't gone ageless, though: Krayon's picked up a few habits of the elderly, such as lecturing. Vanity isn't his only sin; with age comes great power, making him one of the five most powerful demons as well. Krayon doesn't think twice before exploiting weaker beings for his own benefit, even for something as silly as billowing his cape out. In fact, he's so selfish that he'll disregard the true feelings of the one he loves (or so he claims to love Erutis) in favor of his own. Krayon is highly territorial with his belongings and will seize something the moment he realizes he desires it.
Krayon demands respect and has a pride to rival the other egomaniac in the series, Chris. (Okay, he's not that bad.) In addition to wrecking havoc and destruction, he'll ignore those he doesn't deem worthy to speak to him. The other side of Krayon is dramatic and flamboyant. First of all, appearances: Krayon's hair looks like the most delicious, honey-covered, curled licorice, he has two star tattoos on his left cheek, nails to match a Victorian grandmother's, a matching embossed jewelry set, and a professional but frilly getup that belongs in the 1800s. Oh, but it doesn't stop there. This eccentric will even pull out roses and lyres when the moment demands it.
What's important to keep in mind about Krayon is the fact he's a proper demon lord. He gets off on blood and guts and only cares about himself. Everything he does will somehow or another benefit himself -- why else would he do something? Caring, kindness, friendliness, those are things a real demon lord doesn't need. Krayon is persistant and pompous, demanding and demeaning, sadistic and sarcastic... Basically a major pain-in-the-ass. If Krayon was an itch on your body, he'd be that single itch you just can't scratch; and even in the rare instance where you do manage to scratch it -- sweet liberty! -- it won't go away.
Abilities ☪ So what happens when the spoiled demon lord doesn't get his way? Well, he's really only ever shown summoning a vortex of magic that could swallow a solar systems like a giant black hole, but his powers are so great that they've been overlooked in the canon. It takes quite a situation to prompt him to use his powers, so it's not like he goes lashing them around. (Well, a little bit.)
While he can burn a whole town to a crisp, Krayon's most used skill is levitation. It adds to his sublimity.
Krayon's realm is Somarium the dream universe. He can transport other into dreams of any sort (he transports Erutis, Chris, and Raenef into a demon's nightmare) and fight at his complete capacity within the realm. Since a demon lord can't use his powers outside his realm, Krayon perpetually lives in his realm while he maneuvers a shadow in the material plane. He's so powerful that even his shadow has powers, like commanding spiritual magic. He's one tough cookie you don't wanna mess with.
For Somarium's purposes, his shadow has been kicked into the material plane. So he doesn't have the all powerful capacity of his realm, only those powers his shadow would be able to command. He can still levitate.
Affection ☪ Krayon's really cold with others when he meets them. You're allowed to be as affectionate as you'd like to him, but don't expect him to reciprocate unless you play a crude and spunky female character.
Fighting ☪ You are allowed to fight him. As for injuring and killing him, I personally have no problems with it, but please contact me so we can work it out. It'd be hard for any character to pull off by themselves and it'd probably involve some pretty, exploding things so it's better you come to me first. He won't jump into fights for no reason; it'll take a big reason for him to propose a battle to somebody, as in Raenef V's case. If your character should get into a fight with him, keep in mind that your character will sustain considerable damage. He's really strong and can summon mega-magic.
Permissions ☪ Krayon's one of those on the verge of being all-powerful so if you want to do something to him, please contact me first. I'm chill with doing anything to him, but I'll need to tell you how your character can accomplish it. As for any taboo topics around him, there are none.
Other ☪ NATURE BILLOWS HIS CAPE.
