My weekend at home was absolutely wonderful. I loved just relaxing at home, having my mom cook for me and not having to worry about doing anything. It was strange at first, but it didn't take me long to get used to being there. I saw "Chicago" on Saturday at the Overture Center and it was amazing. I absolutely loved it! Meg's party was fun too ( Read more... )

I'm so jealous that you got to see Chicago! Very cool.

I think maybe the reason that it's so hard to leave is that you spent two whole months waiting and looking forward to being home, and then you finally get there and it's comfortable and it's exactly what you've been looking forward to.

By the way, I'm so jealous of everyone who gets a nice long Christmas break. My break is only two and a half weeks. :\

True. And Fall Break is nice. But last year break was three and a half weeks. They added an entire week of classes onto first semester. Definitely a lot of returning students who are NOT happy about that.

too true. sometimes you just have to let certain things out. and people can be all the nice in the world, and it still won't change how you feel, or make it better really. you're right. 'here' is by no means my home. and yet home is changed too. :sigh:

"Here" is not home. I don't know what to call "here", but it is not even close to being a home. The warmth, the comfort, the familiarity, the love-it's just not here.

I know what you mean...but everyone says it gets better, so I guess we'll have to believe that someday, it will feel like home. Though, to tell you the truth, I am a little afraid for that day.
