To be fair, the Doctor is trying to come up with good excuses post the first shag he's had in god knows how long, so his brain's maybe still a little bit sluggish. To be fair, no one's buying his excuse, but no one's going to say anything in front of the ten year old. ;)

I was scared to death that you were going to make him regenerate. Please don't do that, 10 is so much better that 11. (I am trying to like Matt Smith, but it's hard.)

This was a nice little filler. I was hoping for more of an ambush by Donna and Martha once they got back, but I'll never complain about an update from you.

Don't worry, there won't be a regeneration anytime soon in this verse. Honestly, I've only seen a couple of episodes of S5, and I'm far, far more comfortable writing Ten than Eleven. Considering that this is my verse where I call the shots, there won't be a regeneration for a very long while... :)

I didn't have Martha and Donna ambush him because they had already gotten the whole story from Gemma. However, what would you have liked to have seen? There's always room for an outtake, and it would be really fun to have the two women confront him as to what exactly he was doing in that alleyway... *g*
