Have reached "Triangle" in the Great X-Files re-watch and am realizing that, with a little bit of loose interpretation, it's rather based off of the same idea as Life on Mars/Ashes to Ashes (as revealed in S3 of Ashes to Ashes, at least...won't say any more in case of spoilers). Is it bad that I see ammo/justification for the cracked out crossover ( Read more... )

It's going to happen. I already have some ideas bubbling around in my head, like when Mulder lands there (he spent three months buried, I'd say that's sufficient time for him to end up in Gene-land), who he's going to meet, how he's going to get back, what's going to happen to Gene. It's definitely going to be cracky-fix it fic, but it's making sense in my head. Now I just have to find the time to write it...
