God I love me some Horatio Hornblower. Might have to dig that out now. XD

I dunno if I'd want our lovely Ioan playing a vamp. He's so....cute and innocent? :D

I'm not sure which pic you mean, but if you mean the one I listed as my favorite...I do believe he is either crying or on the verge of it, having never actually seen the scene in question.

As for the vampire thing...I'm sorta obsessed with them, and Ioan has the look a sexy vampire needs.

Besides, just because he's a vampire doesn't mean he needs to be evil.

I believe he actually IS crying in Solomon and Gaenor, yes. Haven't seen it, but have seen some clips from it and I'm sure he's crying there. Oh, heavenly sweetness.

'bout the vampire question. If anyone's seen Bram Stoker's Dracula with Gary Oldman, you get the idea how one can portray the human side of a vampire. That's a gorgeous movie with gorgeous actors, imo. I'm sure Ioan would make a gorgeous little vamp. :)

I HAVE seen that film, and I enjoy it a lot. And I imagine Ioan as one of those vampires who is keeping a hold on his humanity.
