I love Filipino food! I love the noodle dishes (pancit?) with pork, and have also had some sort of coconut pudding treat. (Not sure what the Filipino name for it is) Also I've had this sort of Filipino egg roll, I think it has sausage.

I share your fondness for summer, beach weather too.San Francisco is a beautiful city, but unfortunately very expensive.:[

Yes! Pancit! And just so you know the terminology if you ever want to order them at a restaurant, the coconut desert is called buko pandan and the egg roll is called lumpia.

There's a sort-of-gay nude beach that my friends and I love to visit and though my feelings about my own body (yanno, the normal non-white, non-fit gay-boy mentality) never allow me to go completely naked with them, I always enjoy swimming and listening to summer beats on our speakers and building sandcastles and playing volleyball and getting tipsy and reading the Fathers under my umbrella and having my ego stroked by getting hit on by douchebags ... Ahhh! I'm getting emotional just thinking about how summer is ending and school and work are returning!

In my corner of heaven, it will be perpetually beach weather. =)

Ah, thanks for the birthday wishes! I'm deathly afraid to visit a nude beach, because I've heard that a lot of the bods are, ahem, not that great to look at.:p I also hate even wearing a bikini due to my own insecurity. But I'm all for strolling around, having my ego stroked (a little, I can't handle too much attention!), building sandcastles, listening to beach music, swimming, reading the Church Fathers and getting a little buzzed!! That sounds perfect=)
