I was gonna say, for those without the brulee torch the broiled w/brown sugar totally works. :)

I will have to try this! When I was in Oregon, man, I don't know where the grapefruit came from, but they were the sweetest, best grapefruit ever, without even a trace of bitterness. I ate them plain, like oranges. I just don't understand why I can't get these fabulous grapefruit in Illinois. It's not fair.
