aka "Hey, who turned out the light?"
Here is part 2 of my semi-report (semi meaning that there is not much of an report but mostly pics) from the awesome Asylum Europe convention in Bad Neuenahr.
I didn't get a seat next to the aisle this time and the light was worse than on Saturday, so a lot of my pictures are very dark and have heads in them. I tried to do my best, but lightening the pics up makes them grainy and I chose to do so with just some of them. I also tried to crop them good enough that there aren't that many heads left. Hope you enjoy them anyway!
Talk with Misha and Mark(sha)
To be honest, I hoped for more, and Misha and Mark were up to more, but some of the questions and actions were quite stupid (in my humble opinion) and the time could have been used for maybe one or two questions where the answers would have been of interest. I know, I know, I could have stood up and ask a question of my own, but the row of people at the microphones was pretty fast pretty long. Let's say the question by one of them "is this some kind of kindergarten" didn't came from nothing.
The talk started with Misha auctioning of a stuffed Castiel-bear with his autograph.

Doug asked one of the first questions. He wanted to know what was up with that during the weekend Mark had successfully tried to convince some of Mishas Minions to turn over to his Lucifers Legion. Both then had a great exchange about how ridiculous the other group is and how "minions" as well as "legions" sounded like something icky. It was hilarious!

Don't ask me why it was so important to put a ring of salt on the stage even after Misha (who later even swept the stuff up) hinted that the hotel staff wouldn't be that keen about it. But well... and, oh wonder, the ring didn't keep neither Misha nor Mark inside. Both made fun of it, though, Misha by keeping one leg inside and Mark by hopping inside and outside a couple of times.

Someone started a question with "if you had to choose" and pronounced it a little bit off. Misha interrupted him with "if I had two shoes?" and the audience cracked up. It was also very funny when someone started her question with "this question goes to both of us". :D

Next was the panel with Jim Beaver and Traci Dinwiddie. They had such a wounderful chemistry on stage, even looking at the pictures makes me smile again.

I forgot how this was called, some energy moving thing Traci does, and it was very nice to watch. Jim grumbling agreed to join and I think he had some fun at all ;)

Someone asked Traci to show Jim an exercise of yoga. I think Jim likes parts of this ;) but he refused to do what Traci did and made something own up.

Chads solo panel :)
He talked a lot of current projects and being typecast, something I had hoped a little to hear about in the Mark/Misha panel

And last but not least Sam! She is such an entertainer on stage and its a real pleasure to watch her =)

And this was it. After Sams talk was the second autograph session and to conclude the day all guests came on stage a last time to say good-bye. Since the audience gave standing ovations, I had to hold my camera up and just press on the trigger (I have a Nikon D40 which is a real DSLR and I can't use the display and I have to use the viewfinder)

And after all the guests were gone Doug announced that there will be another Asylum Europe around this time next year. I already pre-booked my ticket =)
