General Update - Beedle, Luggag Found, Window Washing, Horse Jumping

We got Beedle the Bard in the mail yesterday, having pre-ordered it from Amazon. Even the cardboard book-packing had a "Beedle" theme. It's a lovely book, very nice production values. I have only read the intro and the first story so far; I want to savor it. Who knows when the next JKR book will come again? The Spawn was so excited when it arrived

She's got a really good form on that horse, very nice! I've seen way too many kids "jumping" with elbows out and heels up, it's nice to see someone doing it properly!

Not any more, but I did for four years in Jr. High and High school. I love horses, always have, but life didn't lead me in that direction, sadly enough!

I seem to remember you contemplating taking to your bed if that child should ever try jumping and your very great desire that the horse thing would be a passing fancy. Don't say I didn't warn you!

House of Meat reminds me that my carnivorous family has eaten several times at the House of Beef on the way to/from Tuolumne. Not healthy but v. good.

Seeing as I am getting to be in Seattle this fall, it is great to know exactly where Kirkland is and what the view of Rainier looks like!

Congrats to the girl. She is really riding!
