Ha. That's diplomacy at work isn't it :-) I like how you manage to tone it down a bit from what seems to be the "done thing" but do it in a way that you like better, and most of all the girl likes because it's her day isn't it.

I am in sympathy with Geoff, but I think you have made a really good compromise which should leave everyone happy.
