Route 66 Day 1

We left Dallas this morning in a rented Dodge Charger about 8:00. We drove through Arkansas all morning and most of the afternoon. I had thought that we would drive through Memphis as well but no, we skirted Tennessee completely. We got into Missouri about 6 and had dinner at a faboulous place called Lambert's www.throwdrolls.com. Really fun place with amazing food. I had the BBQ pork steak (yum yum). Tomorrow we've decided to sleep in a little and then head to Chicago. After that the real trip begins :)
