Title: The MCR Death Drabbles

Notes: I have been challenged by kayliemalinza to write a series of drabbles killing off all the members of MCR. I have accepted this challenge, and present the first in a series:
1. DEAD OF MORBID APPROPRIATENESS
Gerard is the first to go. What seemed like merely a persistent cough turned out, upon diagnosis, to be a particularly potent type of lung cancer. After that, his condition worsened so rapidly that it seemed as if the cancer had merely been waiting for discovery to manifest itself. A week later, Gee was gone. Everyone who knew him agreed that, while his death was inarguably tragic, Gerard’s habit of smoking like a chimney meant it had only been a matter of time until something like this happened. While the press had a field day and online fan communities exploded at the news, the other members of the band glumly wondered what was to happen now that their frontman was dead. As it turned out, they didn’t need to worry...
