Might as well make use of the space.
Let me begin by saying that I am a lukewarm fan of Tarantino films. The guy has a good eye for angles and details, and I appreciated Kill Bill. Know many people who were really excited about the film, but I paid no real attention until I saw the preview/movie summary.
Number one, loved the idea of re-imagined history. I'm a sucker for it. Maybe re-imagining the past is a moot point--it's over. What if's and Maybes are useless, but I think that they provide us with an unmitigated sense of satisfaction. Sometimes, even remorse. Nonetheless, it's cathartic. Personally, I would have loved to take a crack at Hitler too.
Number two, Tarantino's attention to detail helped him define the characters on the film. There are very subtle details about each character that I liked, and contributed to each of their personalities. Brad Pitt's character had a mustache and scars on his neck. Christoph Waltz was FUCKING AWESOME in this movie.
Number three, Melanie Laurent, the actress who played Soshanna is gorgeous.
Overall: I give this 5 out of 5 stars -- for humor, quip, and bloody gore..
