I remember a guy in my Creative Writing class making the comment, "You have to kill the children," in regard to the editing process. Sometimes, the key is to allow yourself to suck. Once you've removed the burden of a perfection goal, things can flow more effortlessly and you forget about all of those things that bother you when you right. And then, if you're really lucky, you will find lots of perfect little moments as you're writing, and even more when you do go back through to edit.

So.... The Grammar Nazi is Dead! Long live the Writer!
