Ask me something, anything.  Anonymous, or not.  I'll answer in the comments - and probably tell the truth.

but I've never actually discussed this with you.

What one decision/mistake would you do differently if you had the chance? Also, how do you feel that re-do would impact your current state?

That's a tough one. If I go back too far, I erase a bunch of mistakes that I needed to make. Some of that stuff was important.

I would have done the busywork/"applied myself" in highschool. Which is a nice way of saying, "Fucked around less, paid more attention." I didn't realize that being a quick study wouldn't get me anywhere.

I don't know what this would do to my current state. I'd probably have an MFA that I didn't use.

So, you are no longer held in place by your obligations and responsibilities. Where do you go and what do you do?

I don't know. It looks like I'll be waiting around Omaha for my girlfriend to finish grad school. Which means I'll get an interim job, probably. College isn't my thing. I don't like it, much, and I really want to build things. Maybe trade school (which carries this horrible stigma, in my head). I'd like to apprentice somewhere (www.nbss.org) but that shit can be expensive.

I'll move in with my friend Eric, for at least a year. We'll play a lot of guitar and he'll yell at his girlfriend for making the baby cry. It'll be nice.

if you had to substitute breasts with a condiment... like instead of breasts, two globs of ketchup. what condiment would you pick?

what is the most common theme in your dreams?

how do you imagine drowning feels?

have you ever inappropriately touched an action figure?

what is the most beautiful sounding word?

you've been kidnapped by a Czech XTC dealer and you are tied up and sweating in his storage unit... there is a ham sandwich, a harp, and a broken mirror... what do you do?

1. Vanilla Icecream. It goes on pie. It's a condiment. Otherwise, I would eat them plain.

2. The only recurring dream I have involves eating someone I have met alive. It's gross and weird. Other than that, I tend to be a rather fumble-fingered authority figure.

3. Terrifying, but calmly.

4. I took pictures.

5. Yes.

6. Unstring the harp, and use several bundled harpstrings as a makeshift wrench, to unscrew all the bolts holding the storage unit together. Distract the storage facility's guard dog with the ham sandwich, failing that, defend myself from the animal with the broken mirror.

It's a war between self-interest and whatever I think "the right thing" is, in a given situation. Mostly, the ability to live with myself in the morning.

What personality trait do you think you were born with (rather than developed)?

If you could never write another poem, what art form (that you do not already practice) would you take up?

Why is brown considered a neutral color and not purple?

Peacemaking. If there is contention which I am not a root cause of, I have always tried to calm it down.

Considering that I already write short stories, take photos, play guitar and build... I would probably draw with colored pencils.

Because purple is contentious.

That is to say: Purple is the Seether, in that it is neither or nor.

also you can not fight it. Fact about Wonder Dave: One of the few bands i have been excited enough to see live more than once is Veruca Salt.

which brings me to my question...What are your three favorite musical groups/artists?
